Mitch was born in Memphis TN, but he has lived in the Montgomery, AL area most of his life. Mitch graduated from Troy State University in 2000 with a BS in Business and retired from the U.S. military after serving over 21 years, including three tours of duty in Iraq in 2003, 2006 and 2009. Mitch served 3 years in the U.S. Army and 18 years in the U.S. Air Force as a full-time Air National Guard Technician with the 187 Fighter Wing based in Montgomery, AL. After retirement from the military, Mitch continued to serve as an advocate for veterans by becoming a credentialed National Service Officer with Disabled American Veterans (DAV). As a National Service Officer with DAV, he was able to practice veteran law before Federal court, Veteran’s Administration court and the Social Security Administration as an Attorney in Fact. Mitch has 5 years of experience, including an 18- month formal training program with the DAV, helping veterans and their family members secure the hard-earned benefits they deserve. He also helps service members file claims with the Department of Defense and the Board of Corrections for Military Records. Most of the claims involved attaining an upgraded discharge or back pay. Mitch is now looking forward to helping people achieve their financial goals with the team at Baker Camp Arnold Capital Management and is still available to help anyone navigate the complex bureaucracy of the VA and DOD when it comes time to leave service through separation or retirement.
